About the Event
Restoration Retreat
Restoration Retreat is a warm, prayerful, and welcoming day for anyone walking through marital breakdown, separation or divorce—whether currently or years ago. Through prayer, reflection, the sacraments, teaching, and sharing in genuine community, you will experience healing and hope, rediscover your authentic identity as a beloved child of God, and move forward with greater peace, clarity, and purpose.

This in-person retreat and online retreat is co-sponsored by Abounding Joy Ministry and the Diocese of Madison.
Presented by: Carolyn Klika Catino, Catholic Divorce Healing Coach & Founder of Abounding Joy Ministry. Carolyn has personally walked this journey and has accompanied hundreds of men and women through healing before, during & after separation and divorce.
Special Guest Speaker: Bishop Donald Hying will offer an Opening Spiritual Reflection at 10am Central.

Because we believe everyone should have access to healing and support, the Restoration Retreat is offered on a Pay What You Can basis.
For in-person attendees, a suggested donation of $25 helps cover lunch, materials, and retreat expenses. For online participants, a donation of any amount is appreciated to cover materials and retreat expenses.
Please don't let cost be a barrier. Is this confidential? Yes. Absolutely. We deeply respect your privacy. Small group sharing is entirely optional and are strictly confidential.
I was divorced years ago. Is this for me? Yes. Healing has no expiration date. Whether you're going through divorce now or your marriage ended decades ago, you are completely welcome here. This day is designed to offer deep fruit and restoration wherever you are on your timeline.
I’m only in the discernment phase and just thinking about divorce. Is this for me? Yes, absolutely. You do not need to have a finalized decision or a legal status to be here. This retreat provides a safe, quiet sanctuary away from the daily pressure. Our goal is to help you clear the mental fog, quiet the anxiety, and find the spiritual ground you need to move forward with real peace and clarity. Wherever you are on the journey, you belong here.
What should I bring? For In-Person Attendees: Just bring yourself and a pen. A dynamic Retreat Packet and lunch are provided. (Free-will offerings for lunch are appreciated, and you are welcome to bring any specific dietary foods you personally require). For Zoom attendees, we recommend finding a quiet, uninterrupted space, and having your printed Retreat Packet (or a notebook), a pen, and a stable internet connection ready to go.
